Capturing the feelings of the waiting period before cyclone Alfred made landfall in Brisbane. Even though it wasn't particularly 'big', it was my first cyclone and there was a lot of anxiety in the unknown, so I ended up getting out my paints to let out my feelings. The outcome is a moody piece, with dramatic marks but often my abstract pieces connect with viewers in a whole other way from where they originated and I love that aspect about art.

ORIENTATION - can be chosen upon purchase. I purposefully sign the artwork on the back as the orientation is often a personal choice, although I usually have a favourite way of hanging and if not specified, will wire it that way.
FRAMING - framing can be arranged for ‘unframed’ artworks upon request. I usually choose a simple float frame and if you would like the piece framed, get in touch via the contact form to arrange a quote.
